Southern State Community College

Southern State Community College été agréé en février 1975 en tant que Southern State General and Technical College pour servir les comtés d'Adams, Brown, Clinton, Fayette et Highland. En avril 1975, le conseil d'administration de l'Université de Cincinnati a indiqué son soutien au district universitaire qui englobait le Tri-County Academic Center de l'UC à Macon. En 1977, le nom du collège a été officiellement changé en Southern State Community College .
